About Me:

Growing up:

I was raised in Elgin, Illinois - a suburb near Chicago. I have one brother who is also a teacher, and my parents are retired teachers. (Teaching must run in the family.)

Credentials:

Bachelor’s Degree - Western Illinois University, 1992
Master’s Degree - Aurora University in Illinois, 1999
National Board Certification in Early Adolescent Mathematics – November, 2007

Experience:

I have been teaching for 10 years. I spent two years teaching in an American School in Peshawar, Pakistan. I also taught four years in Superior, Wisconsin, and this is my fourth year in Bellingham. I’ve taught math for the past eight years, and it’s my favorite subject!!
